How Does Burnblock® Work

Burnblock® is a non-toxic and highly effective fire retardant, composed of natural ingredients in a patented formula. Burnblock effectively prevents oxygen from reaching the treated object and without oxygen, there is no fire. Once applied, Burnblock® is invisible, leaving no residues, grease, or stains. It allows treated materials to undergo subsequent treatments without interference, whether they are wood, other fibers, etc. After being absorbed by the treated material, the Burnblock® reacts to heat by charring and capturing oxygen, reducing combustion and the spread of flames.
